this is a selective, free, digital pdf-only zine with no remuneration.
as this zine is aiming to center small artists and those underrepresented in zines, priority will be given to artists <1k twt followers, trans/nonbinary artists of color, other artists of color, and artists who have not been in many rwbytwt zines or any zines at all.

01. | theme :
RWBY is well-known for its powerful female-centered cast, and we want to highlight these awesome characters and have our artists deck them out in new outfits!
this zine will be centered around rwby girls in clothing designed by our participants! the goal is to see the RWBY girls in clothing different from their canon outfits, whether this means casual wear, formal suits, themed battlesuits, or something else! as long as there is significant alteration from their canon clothing, it will be considered a 'new outfit.' to highlights our artists' creativity, we will ask that all outfits be original!
there will be a list of characters, so we can have as few duplicates and as many characters represented as possible. ("girls" includes adult/older women!)02. | selectivity :
there will be a short selection process. though we can't include everyone and want to start small, we hope to accept the majority of applicants! priority will be given to artists <1k twt followers, trans artists of color, other artists of color, and artists who have not been in many rwby twitter zines or any zines at all. however, anyone may apply!

03. | applications :
all applicants must be aged 16 or above at the time of application. mods will be checking each applicant to make sure the zine remains a safe space for participants, and will retain final discretion over the participant lineup. we will ask for 3 sample pieces and a portfolio (website, image folder, art account, etc.) to make selections. a "portfolio" can be comprised of any work you are proud of! any "proship" artists, artists with histories of bigotry, or artists that use AI in their work will be barred from the zine. additionally, to prioritize participant comfort, artists that mainly have NSFW work will not be accepted.04. | content :
all pieces and outfits must be SFW and non-suggestive/sexual. to avoid discourse, no ship content will be allowed apart from canonical ones. all art must be full pieces, whatever that means for your art. depending on participants, we may have some collaborative pieces. artists will be expected to create one 1-page piece containing 1-3 characters. traditional art is allowed, but must have a good-quality scan.
